Finding Your Glow with Irene Forte
This story begins with a miracle: I was on time for an event, something I’m trying to better at! I have a habit of trying to squeeze far too much in one day...The Conscious Glow Getter meets full-time momtrepreneur and dedicated wife. Needless to say, I cannot have it all, so it was to my utter delight that I was on time and arrived in a serene suite at Browns Hotel full of exciting products to try and the chance to pick the brains of the beautiful Founder of Irene Forte Skincare, Irene Forte herself.
"A nutrient-rich, natural and considered skincare line.” - As soon as this phrase was said to introduce the line big hearts replaced my eyes because WOW, that definitely ticks off the #theconsciousglowgetter boxes. The benefits of the Mediterranean diet built into a skincare line, that not only contains natural ingredients that are sustainably farmed but also touches all senses in that it all smells and feels exquisite.
After a good 15 minute chat about the products (and banter about where the best pistachios are from, after all, I’m proudly married to an Iranian and lived there for many years!), it was my turn to really understand the power of the products through a mini facial. It was 20 mins of pure bliss, as someone who has both sensitive and dry skin the products felt so velvety and I cannot explain how soothing they made my skin feel. I was makeup-free and saw my skin glowing from within. There’s no better way to feel than beautiful when you are au natural!
What I love about this brand is not only is it a sustainable natural skincare brand founded by a beauty entrepreneur (a woman after my own heart), she saw that women wanted to know exactly the who, where, when, why factors behind their skincare products and set out to bring that to the beauty market. So talk about incredible when Irene herself can point to an organic farm on a map and explain how THAT is exactly where the ingredients are grown in Sicily or that is the park in which our ingredients grow. It gives you such confidence in the products, knowing that they can be traced to ensure true ethical and sustainable ethos are practiced. And the formulations are not just simple solutions either, Irene Forte has a team of biologists and dermatologists who helped formulate this product to ensure effectiveness in your skin. Science meets nature for this incredible brand, resulting in products to bring you flawless skin that is natural yet scientifically formulated. Heart eyes again…check, check and check!
Nut allergy? No problem. They were able to use potential allergenic ingredients but then through scientific knowledge be able to extract the potential allergic components within the ingredients to ensure more wide consumer use. So you can experience the amazing benefits of these ingredients without the negative impact they can, unfortunately, have on someone’s health. This resonated with personally as Mouse has recently been diagnosed with a tree nut allergy, which means I don’t have to worry about these products being kept under lock and key to ensure her safety as Irene Forte and her team did the heavy lifting for me. I guess this is where ‘considered’ part of their slogan comes from: “A nutrient-rich, natural & considered skincare line. “
