To summarize my opinion of New Nordic: It’s products are a natural magic - a range of beauty and wellness products that work in harmony with your body! Pure & Natural cleansing balm
For my avid readers here, you know how much I love a good balm. From pricey ones like Augustinus Bader to Clary Collection, I love the consistency. I hadn’t tried a new one in awhile and was truly impressed once again by a balm. New Nordic’s is no exception for incredible quality and it’s budget friendly at just £30. New Nordic is great at providing quality skincare at exceptional price points.
This balm can do it all! It removes makeup, creates that soft moisturised effect that I love post-cleanse, rather than feeling dry and tight skin. The main ingredient, sea buckthorn assists in revitalising the skin by stimulating the skin cells to form a healthy and elastic structure helping to reduce tiredness (fine lines, etc.) and contributes to a healthy, glowing skin.
HOW I USE IT?
I have added it into my evening skin care routine especially as it is efficient in removing makeup and daily impurities. I take some of the balm into my finger tips and with circular motions rub into my face, leaving it feeling smooth and soft. Then, with my favourite reusable cleansing pad, I add some water and start to softly rub my face creating a milky effect. I continue to add more water to gently wash off the daily grime. The balm gently slides off the skin resulting in a refreshed glow that feels nourished and moisturised.
Intense Marine Mask
As noted in the title of the product, this is an intense moisture mask suitable for winter months (and year-round!). What makes this mask stand out from others it it’s amazing consistency. It isn’t too heavy on the skin, and can easily be used in either your AM and PM routine.
The brand suggests 5-10 mins but I have also left it on a little longer to enjoy its full effects. The main ingredient is POMEGRANATE which works similarly to my favourite skincare powerhouse, Vitamin C. It assists in detoxing the skin of free radicals while also repairing the skin. Personally, this is crucial for my skincare journey right now and for any glow getter during the harsh weather that the winter months kindly provides for our skin.
Post-mask you’ll instantly see a hydrated glow while the after effects of the product with continued use will showcase firmer skin, reduced appearance of aging/wrinkles while toning the skin for an even brighter glow long-term.
Overall I have really enjoyed trialing these products... I also got a branded headband, which is perfect for my signature glow getter look! Ultimately, New Nordic believes in the power of natural with a holistic, herbal approach to their products.
